Why We Created AA-Grade
From bale to boutique — our own journey
Pick & Choose did not start as a hand-picked business.
We started exactly where many of our customers are today — opening 45kg bales, steaming jackets, washing, ironing, pricing, and selling one item at a time.
When we opened Adam & Eve Collab, our own retail store, we were still doing everything the hard way.
Bales arrived. We opened them. We cleaned. We sorted. We priced. We sold.
But as the store grew, something changed.
Our stock started moving too fast.
We reached a point where we could no longer:
Steam every jacket
Wash every item
Research every resale price
Or keep up with the volume our customers wanted
And that’s when we realised something important:
A successful retail store doesn’t have time to prepare stock — it needs ready-to-sell inventory.
That’s why we created AA-Grade.
Instead of sending raw bales to our own shop, we started working directly with our international partners to:
Hand-select better pieces in the off-season
Clean, steam and quality-check them
Price them for strong resale margins
And pack them into ready-to-sell sacks
So Adam & Eve could simply open, hang, and sell.
Once we saw how well this worked for our own store, we knew other resellers needed the same option.
That’s why today we offer two paths:
A-Grade bales for those who want maximum control and profit
AA-Grade sacks for those who want speed, convenience, and retail-ready stock
Both come from the same world of imported bales.
The only difference is how much work you want to do yourself.
Whether you choose to hustle through A-Grade or move fast with AA-Grade, we built both options from real experience — not theory.
